OHSA – Supervisors
Our half-day course is intended is to teach participants about occupational health and safety law in Ontario. The course is designed for upcoming supervisors, JHSC members, health and safety representatives, and other interested members of management.
Course Content
- Duties and responsibilities for supervisors and management set out in the Act
- Case studies
- Reporting, forms and due diligence
- Becoming familiar with the Act and Regulations, and have the knowledge and skill to be able to access detailed information when required
- Understand the three worker rights in the province of Ontario
- Describe the powers of a Ministry of Labour (MOL) inspector
- Understand the Internal Responsibility System
